FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO HELP THOSE PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM HURRICANE DAMAGE

The DELTA EMPLOYEE & RETIREE CARE FUND is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization led by Delta people to benefit Delta families. The Care Fund provides assistance to eligible Delta employees, retirees and their survivors who suffer a severe financial hardship from an unforeseen and unavoidable crisis, including loss due to a disaster or catastrophic event.

The Delta Employee & Retiree Care Fund is on call for anyone in the Delta family seriously affected by Hurricane damage

Need Help?

The first level of care for anyone affected is Delta's Employee Assistance Program, which can be reached at 1-800-533-6939. Beyond that, retirees and employees who may need assistance have several options for contacting the Care Fund.
They may do so via local leadership teams, via email – DeltaCareFund@delta.com – or by calling (404) 801-8514.
(All disaster applications should be submitted through local leadership teams.)
(Retirees should contact Care Fund by Email or Telephone)

If you know of anyone who has been affected, please advise them about the Care Fund.

The third recommended site is the SALVATION ARMY
Donations to the Salvation Army to support the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts can be made:
Online at helpsalvationarmy.org
By calling 1-800- SAL-ARMY
By texting STORM to 51555
To see how your donations are being put to use in the field, the organization provides disaster updates as well.

The Salvation Army has provided shelter, food, and clothing to victims in Houston. In other hard-hit cities, volunteers have been assisting in the efforts to rescue victims as floodwaters rapidly rise.
