We invite you to join the Delta Pioneers!
Regular membership shall be comprised of (a) retired employees of Delta Air Lines, Inc., (b) retired employees of airlines or other companies merged with or acquired by or a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc., (c) active employees of Delta Air Lines, Inc., and companies owned by or a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc. who have at least (1) year of continuous employment, and (d) spouse or domestic partner of the above. A surviving spouse or domestic partner shall retain membership as long as annual dues are paid. All retirees and employees who have current active membership will retain membership regardless of the status of their company.
Annual National dues are $15. Membership includes your spouse. If you join a local chapter, $5.00 of your dues will be rebated to your local chapter (pending funds are available) to help defray chapter operation costs. Some local chapters may charge additional dues which are retained and used locally.
It is not necessary to join a local chapter to become a Pioneer, but it is necessary to join the National Pioneers to belong to one of the local chapters.
There are local Delta Pioneers chapters across Delta's system including an international chapter in Frankfurt, Germany that meet and plan activities:
ATL Woolman, BOS Yellowbirds, CVG Midwest, DFW Lone Star, DTW Motor City, IAH Houston, LIT Diamond State, MCO Dolson, MSP Northern Lights, MSY Gulf Coast, ORD Windy City, RDU Catherine Fitzgerald, SLC Intermountain Note: If you are a Delta Retiree living in a location not served by a local chapter. We encourage you to join the Pioneers as a Member At Large.
Local Delta Pioneer chapters meet and plan activities which encourage socializing and volunteering by its members.
Various local chapters sponsor events and activities throughout the year which are extended to all members of our organization.
A National Convention is held each year offering networking opportunities for attendees from various local chapters via activities such as dinners, speakers, and tours.
Attendees at our Convention have the opportunity to participate in our Annual Business Meeting when the election of National Officers and discussion of pertinent business for the organization is conducted.
The Delta Pioneers distribute a National newsletter to all members several times a year.
In addition, some of the local chapters provide a newsletter to their members.
Time sensitive information is posted on our website (www.deltapioneersinc.com) and our Facebook page (Delta Pioneers) as it becomes known to us.
A Pioneers Membership Database containing names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of all Delta Pioneers is maintained by the National Office. The information is updated as it becomes available from members.
Each chapter president also maintains a directory of its members.

Below is a link to a membership form. Please print it, complete the membership application (please print clearly), and send it together with an annual dues check of $15.00 (includes spouse) to the address shown on the application. You may send payment for multiple years at $15.00 per year.
NOTE: Member dues are due before December 31 each year for the next year. members will be dropped on April 1st if the dues are not paid on time. There is a $10.00 additional fee if dues are paid after April 1st.
